In the Community Third Avenue Eyecare has been serving Longmont and the surrounding communities for over 20 years. Our office is currently located in Longmont's Historic Westside Neighborhood. We are pleased to announce the recipients of our 2010 Third Avenue Eyecare Scholarships are Megan O'Rell, Conor Guidarelli, and Jennider Wacker all from Longmong High School. Megan (left) is headed to Trinity University in the fall for Optometry School. Conor (middle) will be attending Colorado State University to pursue a degree in History and Environmental Design. Jennifer (right) will be attending University of Redlands for pre-med.
Girl Scouts The Girl Scouts of St. Vrain Valley held their 13th annual Women of Distinction Awards Brunch on Saturday, March 13th, in Longmont. The event brought in more than $12,000 to benefit Girl Scouts in the area. Dr. Wolford was selected by her peers and chosen based on her contributions to the community, both professionally and personally.
